§ 9.45. Resignation.

  • To resign in good standing an employee shall give at least two (2) weeks' notice to enable the city to make proper provision for filling the position. The requirements may be waived by a department head where adequate provision can be made in a shorter period of time. All resignations shall be made in writing and presented to the department head. Failure to provide required notice may result in a final evaluation stating the employee did not leave in good standing and shall be grounds for denial of future City employment.
