§ 2.12.040. Deputy clerk.

    The deputy clerk shall be hired by the city manager. The deputy city clerk shall report directly to the city clerk.

    B.

    In case of the temporary absence of the city clerk, the deputy clerk shall be appointed to act with all the power and obligations of the city clerk, the deputy clerk shall sign all documents in the name of the city clerk subscribing his or her personal signature as acting city clerk.
