§ 3.12.040. Qualifications of applicants and bidders.

  • An applicant or bidder for a disposal of city land is qualified if the applicant or bidder is:

    A.

    A citizen of the United States or has filed declaration of intention to become a ciizen, and is eighteen years of age or over;

    B.

    A group, association, or corporation which is authorized to conduct business under the laws of Alaska; or

    C.

    Acting as an agent for a person qualified under the subsection A or B of this section and has filed with the city manager or his designee, prior to the time set for the disposal, a proper power of attorney or a letter of authorization to such agency. The agent shall represent only on principal, to the exclusion of himself.
