§ 3.40.120. Display of license—Surrender of license—Suspension or revocation of license.

  • A.

    A license issued under this chapter must be prominently displayed at the licensee's place of business.

    B.

    A licensee shall surrender a license within ten days after:

    1.

    Revocation of a license;

    2.

    Cessation of business;

    3.

    Change of ownership; or

    4.

    Change of location of business.

    C.

    The department may suspend or revoke a license issued under this chapter:

    1.

    For violation of this chapter or a regulation of the city adopted pursuant to this chapter; or

    2.

    If a licensee ceases to act in the capacity for which the license was issued.

    D.

    No person whose license is suspended or revoked shall sell cigarettes or tobacco products or permit cigarettes or tobacco products to be sold during the period of the suspension or revocation on the premises occupied or controlled by that person. No disciplinary proceeding or action is barred or abated by the expiration, transfer, surrender, renewal or extension of a license issued under this chapter.
